Post-Doctoral Research Opportunities:
For candidates looking to join our lab as a post-doc or visiting researcher, we're eager to hear from you. We're open to discussing both new research ideas and our current projects. Please reach out to Carolina Rezaval with your CV, a summary of your research interests, and, if relevant, your proposed funding strategy, such as fellowship applications.
Early Career Researcher Opportunities:

PhD Opportunities:
The University of Birmingham supports both home and international PhD students through competitive programs. Our lab offers annual opportunities to engage in projects within these programs, with application deadlines: January for entry the following September. If interested, contact Carolina prior applying. Include your CV, a summary statement of your research interests and your proposition for funding.

Visiting Studentships/ Scientific exchange:
We offer student internships for 3 to 12 months to fulfil the requirements of degree programs or as part of exchange programs (e.g., Erasmus+). Interested individuals should email Carolina with their CV and a cover letter. Explore funding options here.
Master Projects:
We offer projects to MRes, MSc, MSci students. If you're interested in carrying out your research project in our lab, get in touch. Include your CV and a research interests.
Summer Placements:
Prospective Master's or PhD students are encouraged to apply for summer placements in our lab. Email Carolina with evidence of your skills and specific interest in our lab, highlighting relevant experiences. Applicants should be able to commit to at least 8 weeks in the lab. Funding available here.
